it took me like 20 listens to finally warm up to the album but I still think the stripped down acoustic performances are much much better than the studio tracks.

I'm a little underwhelmed by this.
Far From Home, Monkeys Uptown, Rabbit Will Run, and Your Fake Name are all fuckin great, but they're the only songs I really dig.
Any one else think the sax on this sounds really hokey? Doesn't work for me at all.

It's certainly not his best, but a pretty good record. Sunburned Hand or whatever is not a very good song though

Really admire the risk and direction Iron & Wine took. Pulled off. Not the best album of 2011 thus far but one of them. Enjoyed it a lot.
