But no, I'm pretty sure that this sounds exactly like every other Motorhead release. Not necessarily a bad thing though.

I like artsy pretentious music as much as the next artsy pretentious douche bag, but you can't deny good songwriting. Motorhead is one of those bands like AC/DC. Variety? Nope. Maturity? Not really. Interesting? Nah. But nobody captures that "rock and roll" feeling quite like these bands...and nobody has been able to write as many different and great melodies as these bands have while using the same exact formula for mostly every song.

Nobody embodies the true gritty rock and roll attitude better than Lemmy, which is why there will always be space on my shelf and in my heart for new Motorhead

Motorhead was the first, and will be the last, band standing. Sure it sounds like every other cd they've ever released, but thats just the point. They pre-dated progression, they just are.
