With Jane Doe, Converge tried to make something resembling a concept album, following the life of a woman (the 'Jane Doe') whose life is slowly crashing down. Sadly, if you are able to follow the story, which is an achievement on its own, you'll find that it is in fact quite vague and uncompelling.
I'm sure if Bannon wanted there to be a clear story, he would have written it that way.

Hmm I actually do listen to this, but only to a few standout tracks(Distance And Meaning, Fault And
Fracture and Thaw). I really don't like the other songs. By the way this is only my opinion, and most
people disagree with me anyways...

If you're going to write a "Poor" review for a beloved Sputnik album your points have to be more convincing than they are here, I think. It might not be fair, but that's how it is... people should need more convincing. The writing is mostly fine here, but more important than the writing is the actual points you make... and a few of the points (like a complain about how the concept isn't clear enough, when it's actually intentionally vague for a variety of reasons) (or, also how you think the album is too samey, right? yeah definitely not) make me think you missed the point of the music.

and guys just because it's "well-written" in a sense doesn't mean you have to pos or whatever... part (most, some would argue) of what makes a review quality is its actual argumentation and points, not their diction and grammar. oh well.
