hmmmm, post-rock, hardcore, indie, prog mostly, I've been getting into different areas of electronica and some hip-hop.
I'm down for pretty much anything that isn't country (although as I type I'm listening to Taylor Swift hahahhaaha so who knows)

I listened to this enough to finally rate it and I'm going to stick with a "3" for the reasons I stated earlier. It's a step in the right direction, but they're not very fun anymore.

That seems like a fair rating - to be honest with you, a bit of the fun has worn off for me as well. A 4.0 seems a bit too high at this point, but it was good while it lasted so I'll keep the score at that.
I've heard a couple of fans say that this new direction - although interesting - wasn't playing to the band's strengths. They said it felt like "white boy posturing", lol.
