The Crane Wife is definitely great too (I have it rated a 4), but I prefer the simple yet exuberant atmosphere of this album, it actually clicked with me after only one listen.

Yeah I think I know what you mean, you're saying the majority of this album is solid with a few amazing songs, while The Crane Wife has mostly amazing songs with some filler and simply solid tracks thrown in?

Pretty good review, Adam. I actually prefer your longer ones. Not gonna neg though, that would be silly. Whats a good album to start with for these guys? Never really heard them.

They are all pretty good but I would suggest this, Crane Wife or Picaresque for starters.
