that's what he said. good review, and i have the same outlook on Gorillaz all together, i don't care about the amazingly thin storyline, I just want the music.

man I was listening to this on my computer (and i've got really nice speakers) and I just wasn't feeling it. but it's a lot better on headphones, everything sounds much more vibrant and full; it makes it sound intentionally minimalist and lo-fi compared to just low-budget.
I'm only about halfway through and still need to let it sink in, but right now I'm digging this more than I expected to.
