I've moved a bunch of albums down in ratings lately
I mean if you look at it, a 3.5 is a 'Great' on this site.

:') WE WON, GUYS! Cool. Hitting the popular albums area a few minutes after posting isn't bad. mean if you look at it, a 3.5 is a 'Great' on this site. I think a lot of people ignore the designations and go with their own (like a lot of people seem to think of "3" as average when it's not).

That's how I see it actually. I give 3's to albums that are decent, but still kinda boring. 3.5's are usually just good or a little more than good.

The descriptions of the ratings should really be gotten rid of; I mean, it really isn't up to individual users to deign anything a classic.

I can usually tell by reading about a band whether I will like them, with fair accuracy. I don't put much stock in other people's ratings unless I know we have similar tastes.

I'd be happy just having "classic" changed to "brilliant" or "flawless" I'd go with either, but I'd prefer to get a 10 rating scale and have the 10 be "brilliant" or "flawless". Either way, this is a solid 4 for me.

Eh I like the 5 rating scale, but yeah 5 shouldn't mean classic. Willie wouldn't you have the power to maybe get that changed, since you're a mod?
