I know that 'revolutionize' and 'revolutionise' are both acceptable, but I will never understand why people choose the latter, it just looks retarded, and pronunciation suggests the former be a lot more accurate.
I know this is terribly late, but the reason why people choose the latter is because that's actually the correct spelling of the word, and not the retarded 'modification' American English has made.
