I wasn't much of a fan of the material that the original lineup played, but I'll still probably check it out for nostalgia's sake.

This is surprisingly awesome. Fast paced metalcore with great production, tasty riffs, crushing vocals, and well placed drumming. I hate when people say this but the breakdowns on this album rule.

Really glad I got to see them for their second to last show on their farewell tour. They actually played lots of old stuff from Burning Bridges and When Everything Falls, which was fucking awesome. I stage dove like there was no tomorrow.

It's all right. I'm expecting the lead single to be the most tame song on the record.

Sounds to me like an album closing song, they've always liked intro/outro's.

The melody in the new song does it for me.

I'm hearing it's a lot sludgier, kind of like Trenches. Hope that is the case.

i think it accurately represents the full spectrum of their career. the title track, for example, could fit right in on this album. "Accept" sounds like it's straight off the first 2 albums. and then "Shadow" is this heavy sludgy-ish thing that's not really like anything they've done before.

Good to hear, TooMany. That's exactly what I was expecting/hoping for, although I do favor their later material.

The material is solid, just a little samey to me. I like those songs better when they're in a mix as opposed to listening to the albums from start to finish.
