I Play Dead is an amazing song. I don't exactly know why but I can't stop listening to it, it's just damn good. The whole album is.

I felt the same way. I Play Dead was my favorite song when I still listened to Demon Hunter. I like them now but you could say I moved on.

@Crav: I always happen to have the same feelings about the first and second albums I get by one band.
1st Album = A ton of amazing songs, and a few good ones.
2nd = All consistently great.
I hate when something like that happens, it usually ends up with me liking the 1st a lot more.

I never got into their first as much as this and Triptych.
I'd say SoD > Trip > DH > Gates.
That said, Infected is easily one of their best songs. If you like Heartstrings off of this album, you'll love Infected.

It's their worst because about half the album is filler. Which is a shame, seeing as how excellent Not Ready to Die and Heartstrings Come Undone are.

about half the album is filler. I don't really view any songs off the album as filler because they always work really hard on their music like any band. I see what you mean though especially when you listen to the end of "Beuty through the eyes of a Predator" where it gets a bit repetitive.
