I think JP is better on his own; he's also one of the best drum programmers I've ever heard. I much prefer the sound of the self-titled to Soundtrack for the Revolution.

I agree that the self titled is the best. Although I have yet to hear Soundtrack.

Doesn't hold a candle to it, imo

Soundtrack would be a lot better if it had a stronger production. It's just kind of muddy and it makes the songs feel kind of weak. I bet they're awesome live, though.

Just went back and compared both albums, and you're right, Willie. On the s/t even though everything is chaotic and sounds mashed together, you can hear all the different parts.

Have you heard the fourth and fifth track (star and revenge)?

Just finished Stars right now (a bit long for my taste) but very solid. It's got this Egyptian thing going on. I'm actually on Revenge right now and, well, it's a bit unorthodox. Don't think this one will be a keeper.

Just let it keep playing. It's a grower.

No no, just that one song I'm not liking. The rest is kick ass.

I'm talking about that one song. I love that song now, but I didn't like it all the first few times.

Alright, it can stay.

Haha, Handlebars is so out of place compared to the fury of the previous songs.

The last three songs are out of place, actually. The last one is cool/funny though.

The first time I heard those weird reggae vocals I actually said "what the fuck."

I dunno man, I was feeling it as soon as I heard them. Looks like the fun factor is not dead after all :D

I said it with a smile on my face. It was a good "what the fuck".
