No, you seem to be far too busy misquoting me and blowing everything out of proportion like a butthurt drama queen, and I really don't want to spoil your fun.
I know who you are, but I wish I didn't.

It's him.

i had a nice conversation with leonard cohen after seeing him in concert about two years ago. we were standing by the merch stall and i asked him what he thought about the jeff buckley cover etc etc and he was super friendly and it was just generally a pleasant chat. then, as i'm getting ready to shake his hand or something and be on my way, he adds 'you bought a shirt yet?'
i sort of smirked and was like 'not yet!' in a bit of a sarcastic tone, not in a mean way (i have a really dry sense of humour and thought it was funny he was asking me whether i'd bought his own merch) but he just kept staring at me with this suggestive look (he would not take his eyes off me) and it got really really awkward for what seemed like a couple minutes so i added '...they're out of my size'
the guy selling merch hears this because he's standing literally right fucking behind me and goes 'nooope, no, we're fully stocked' and the smug bastard starts pulling out mediums like it's nobodys business (as if they wouldnt have size 'm' in stock?) and the shirt is just awful looking - it's got this glaring distorted drawing of cohens face on the front and 'european tour' + dates written in goofy lettering on the back and is just generally not nice to look at - and i'm standing there like an idiot about to fork out 6 euros because an old guy has evil eyes
/uncomfortable

Story is too funny not to be true.

i figure he stations himself for conversation by the merch table just to pull that off on unsuspecting concert-goers
total con

no he probably does it to amuse himself. I think my mom hooked up with him. She was the biggest Cohen fan ever. Like we have every book and album signed.
