they really messed up attitude. they took away all the feeling the misfits version had. just like queen, you cant cover the misfits(or Samhain and Danzig) because of the vocals. I have only heard one band that can cover them and queen succefully, and that is metallica, especially when they are live.

Since I Don't Have You is the only song I liked back when I heard this album.

this should never have been released. Just poor material to fill the gap between Illusions and Chinese Democracy. The GNR's spin on these songs falls flat very quickly.

A laughable excuse for an album.

10-15 years ago I would probably have given it a 2.5-3, but with time you get to know the originals, and yes, those are plaid with more emotion, passion and subtlety.

The biggest blunder is probably Soundgarden's 'big dumb sex'. A song Soundgarden wrote as a parody on macho alpha-male frontman of rockbands having a big mouth and big dick. Indeed to make fun of bands like Motley Croe, Whitesnake, Manowar and GN'R.

This reviewer makes the same mistake as GN'R themself and adores the 'big macho male' talk. I bet Beavis and Butthead were not as dumb as this ;-)

Had this for years. Probably listened to it three times. Never really bonded. Shame

Down on the Farm is the only song on here worth listening to, and only because it's absolutely hilarious

Axl uses his favorite dish as an album cover. Imagine that.

Ridiculous that this album only has a 2.4. It’s not great but it’s at least 3-3.5.

this isn't terrible, the covers that they pick are good unique songs not old tired songs

TRex, Fear, stooges are great inclusions
