Very well written. This album is much better than I expected. Honestly, I don't think too much about production unless it's too over-the-top. I really don't get that feeling when hearing this.
For being a pop-oriented record, the songs are superbly written (by a 21 year-old nevertheless), and shows more emotion than most pop that you hear on the radio today.

Lady Gaga may have stolen the pop crown by doing everything in her power to mask herself under a veneer of shock
fashion and shock statements, but Speak Now has Swift doing just what she does best: being herself, and Swift has come far
enough as her own artist to make Speak Now the best pop record of the year.
The reason why Lady Gaga is a bigger pop icon than Taylor Swift is because she crafts incredibly catchy pop songs and writes her
own music and isn't a fabricated, run of the mill pop star like Swift is.
The woman studied music at Tisch School of the Arts but dropped out because she was bored and could teach herself.
Basically. . . she kicks ass.
