Yeah, his voice just has enough of that old-school pop-punk left in it, without verging into whiney territory. While his lyrics are above-average for the genre.

the guitarists have some great moments but i would agree that shane is what sets the band above similar groups. that said, the album was kind of disappointing to me. not bad by any means, but disappointing. the title track is fantastic though.

I know what yopu mean x2 (re: the guitarists & this album being a little disappointing in a way). On the disappointing aspect, it's mostly because I think they took a relatively big step from album #1 to album #2. This is not better than album#2... But there is enough little intricacies about this album which suggests it may do the band good in the long run if they learn from them.
