The only songs I don't really care for are Take Me As You Found Me and You Belong Here, and they're not bad at all. Everything else is great.

sure stephen christian's voice is amazing enough that these songs aren't bad, but his voice can still be a highlight if the music is good too!!

When was Amberlin any less commercial? This album is less radio-friendly then both of it's predescors. You think that means they're selling out?

the record company's gonna give them lots of money and everything's gonna be all right

Interesting, and great, review Adam. I see we're in the same corner re: New Surrender. I wonder if anyone is going to write a review of this without mentioning 'NS' - whether positively or negatively.
I liked the 1st sentence & totally agree. Did 'NS' really break them on radio over there, did it? Great to hear if so, because they don't get played anywhere (despite having a huge following) at all down under. These guys deserve all the success they get.
