Got 3 tracks in and couldn't really find anything enjoyable about it, will try again another day.

Good stuff SS. Tells me everything I need to know clearly. If anything, just work a little on efficiency. For what sounds like a straight-forward album with not a great deal to tell, the paragraphs are each probably a sentence or 2 too long.

thanks daveyboy, i'll keep that in mind. honestly, i felt like it is not only too long, but also kind of cluttered and awkward at times...i've definitely had smoother-reading reviews. of course though, this is the one that gets featured. but i guess overall it is okay.

So, curious; which bits are the bassist singing? Not on this album, I mean, haven't heard it... But in anything by them?

At least these guys are consistent. Another good album of no-frills alt. rock.

A step up from the overly generic Let Love In. The brighter textures and crisper melodies make this a good mainstream listen.

I don't think that I ever listened to Let Love In. I've been satisfied with the three older Goo Goo Dolls albums.

Fuck that bass player and this band for still allowing him to sing on anything...

I love goo. But their music has slowly become a drawl of a mess. Old and tired. Where is the sincerity? Why fo I feel the label has killed their authenticity and they let it happen?

Gutterflower was the last good album. Now they make music for 30 year old fat bored housewives
