Wikipedia calls it mathcore, which makes sense in a way if you forget about the vocals.

I can see it being mathcore, but a lot of the technicality is overshadowed by the bass.

Yeah, you're right it is part of the central focus, but this is a very loud album, and there are some subtleties

this album is better classified as a mixture of doom, grind, and blues rock if you really want to get into the thick of it
