post-hardcore bitchfork? maybe noise rock as a stretch
and yeah i like this a lott
|
| |
What would you people classify this as? I thought grind was somewhat appropriate, maybe that's where the neg came from
|
| |
You managed to string this together pretty nicely in the end Matt, well done. I should probably get this.
|
| |
can't for the life of me get into this album, and I like Daughters.
|
| |
Thanks Ross. It was rushed, as you know, but still I can't see the neg. I hate it when people neg without saying why. And
yeah I think you would like this, if you're on later I'll send it to you
|
| |
it's ok
|
| |
I'm surprised to see how many people were displeased with this
|
| |
this is okay i guess

Wikipedia calls it mathcore, which makes sense in a way if you forget about the vocals.
|
| |
I can see it being mathcore, but a lot of the technicality is overshadowed by the bass.

What are you talking about? The main focus is the high pitched, dissonant squealing of the guitars.

I loved this at first but thought it got old pretty quickly

Yeah, you're right it is part of the central focus, but this is a very loud album, and there are some subtleties
|

this album is better classified as a mixture of doom, grind, and blues rock if you really want to get into the thick of it
and it owns. elvis is not dead
|
| |
lol
|
| |
too many indie kids must be false grind
|
| |
Thanks chambered! It has aspects of it, I think... but the vocals don't really fit the context of it. Still post-hardcore is just wrong and noise-rock seems... idk
