^Really? Now I'm interested. Also, speaking of acceptable deathcore, I'd like to bring up Deadwater Drowning.

Blake Richardson, from BTBAM, was and still is the drummer for Glass Casket, if you're looking for a reference point.

I haven't heard Deadwater Drowning, accomplice. I'll check them out. THe only 3 deathcore bands I ever really dug were Despised Icon(vocals sucked, but Pelletier is a fucking beast), Animosity, and Glass Casket.

Arsonists Get All The Girl's latest was great as well.

Deadwater Drowning has Nate Johnson on vocals (Since the Flood, I think he is in Turmoil now) so, if you don't like him don't bother. Have you ever checked out The Red Chord? That's about the only other deathcore band I can handle.

I don't consider the Red Chord to be deathcore, personally, but I've heard people call them that before.

Well, whatever they are, I like them, too.

I like the red chord. I need to listen to them a lot more than I do.

Destruction of a Rose, pointed out to me by sputnik's own Jrowa, sounds fucking awesome from three tunes. Graves of Valor, The newest Breathing Process is awesome too, incorporating piano, symphonic passages and female driven choruses. Gosh guess I really am a deathcore fag.

Lol'd at the people saying deathcore has no hope in the future. I read 3 years ago someone saying the same exact thing about how in 2010 or 2011 deathcore will be dead.. oh hey. This genre will not die out for a while and I'm glad. I enjoy this genre. Maybe it's hard to find a good deathcore band but it's possible. Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris and Hester Prynne are great deathcore, they just get blocked out by the mainstream deathcore so that when a death metal elitist wants to listen to this 'deathcore' all he or she hears is bullshit and nothing good.
