have you heard the glow pt. 2? it's like a more honey-coated version of that or maybe a more emotional/more reliant on song structure guided by voices. people compare them to sonic youth (their namesake) but i don't listen to sonic youth that much so i can't really justify that
without comparing it to bands it's like lo-fi indie that alternates between slow acoustic pieces and faster electric, distorted cuts with one guy vocalist and one girl vocalist singing about their break up
