I saw these guys with Mudvayne once and then I saw them with Mushroomhead another time, and they outshined both bands on stage. I prefer Invitation to the Dance over this, but it's still a pretty good listen.

thanks Sowing and Phlebas

I'll make those fixes later when I get home from work Sowing and as always I appreciate the feedback and compliment.

sweet review man, my buddy (FlyLordz on this site) introduced me to these guys a few years back. Cool band.

The only thing I hated about this band were the effects on his screaming. Sounded like he was underwater, and completely unnecessary.

yeah that does seem to pop up in almost all of their songs

These guys put on a helluva live show, though. The last time I saw them was right after The Mourning After and they had Christian Machado(who apparently lives in Miami now) come on and do the guest vocals on F.E. Shit twas amazing.

There's a band called (sic)monic that kind of remind me of the flaw/40 Below Summer of the metalcore genre. They're still a bit unrefined but they have an awesome vocalist.

(sic)monic's vocalist is skilled, but at times his highs bug me. Still, their Somnambulist album is well-worth checking out.

No need for that, just a simple question out of curiosity.

Re-listening. Better than I remembered. It must be the two after this that were boring.

His screams on Taxi remind me a lot of Chino.

And sicmonic are sweet (at times)

sadly, one of the best tracks that came out of the recording sessions (training day) was left out of the american release and was only included as a bonus track on the japanese version. that song hit me on a very deep level back in the day.
