I remember getting this bands first three albums, Death- Symbolic, Sepultura- Beneath the Remains, The Best of Deicide, and Obituary- Frozen in Time through one of those BMG get 7 albums free then buy two full price and get 4 more free. After that I got Cynic- Focus and that Daath album. That BMG deal really took my music taste in a different direction. Haven't jammed Chimaira in forever and honestly the heavier albums in that lot really took my attention away from this band completely. I only checked Chimaira because someone online recommended them off of me liking Roots from Sepultura. Still dig a few tracks on Resurrection though. The Flame was my jam back in the day.

Album is such a fun listen. The songs are rudimentary and you can tell it’s a great band in their infancy, but there are some great great bangers such as Dead Inside.
