Loving this. Ordered the CD on amazon cause I need more stuff like this, i already have Come Now Sleep and this fits in with that type of music imo

Their singer sounds a lot like the vocalist from Wax on Radio (a good thing). While other christian groups like As Cities Burn have challenging lyrics that question their beliefs and keep it interesting, I found that the lyrics on 'I Am Undone' tended to lean towards unwavering and melodramatic devotion (a problem for me). Is 'Yet' any different in that department?

I'm enjoying this more than the new Emarosa. Vocalist sounds a bit like Jonny Craig.

"tended to lean towards unwavering and melodramatic devotion"

yea, I agree, that's definitely a problem on some songs, but for the most part this is much better. "Lashes" in particular shows some of the lyrical growth and introspection on this one:

But yea it's still not questioning God per se in the way that ACB was.

I find it much easier to just enjoy this dude's voice. For some reason, I just love his vocals, they are just so perfect for the music.

no i like these lyrics. i'm talking about when people let lyrics decide whether or not they'll listen to an album.

If it's something utterly worthless and offensive (i.e. nickelback), that turns me off entirely. If it's something awesome like Death Cab, it more than makes up for mediocre instrumentals on some tracks. For the most part tho, I do more or less tune them out.

Kept meaning to get into I Am Undone. Guess I'll have to check this out too. What I've heard from these guys sounds really good.

A few songs are pretty good, or have really good parts, but I wish it was a little more energetic and maybe not every song about God, gets kinda annoying after awhile.

Nearly every song on this album is a 5/5. So so good. My favorites though are Lower Still, Rich, and Perfector.
