If you haven't heard Psycho the Rapist by Acumen Nation, that's the album that I'd push you to try.

Well, the sad thing (for you) is that I already have that album and I definitely do like it.

That's not sad, that's good. They're a good band and that's an awesome album. I still think Front Line Assembly might be too electronic-based for you, but if there's an album that will win you over it's Millennium.

Whatever, since I'm so strong headed I'm still gonna check this out (and Millenium too)

Great review Willie, didn't know these guys were still together. I'm obviously going to check this out and I think most of you Sputnikers should hop on the industrial train as well.

Album rapes in a good way!

You can take your industrial crap and shove it up your ass, I says.

Ha ha. You'd think that if you like metal and electronica (which it looks like you do), that it would almost be a natural transition to industrial music. Guess not.

It's a funny thing. Personally, I love industrial and I love metal, but I can't stand most industrial metal.

Well, a lot of industrial metal is crap. They either compensate for the weak music with loads of power chords or they can do the electronic thing really well but the riffs all suckā€¦ and then there is their insistence on overly distorting their vocals (that's mainly industrial black metal, though).

Only band I can think of that kicks ass is Sybreed. But then again, I only like Antares and a couple of other tracks from their other albums.

Sybeed's first album is ok, but the other two aren't very good. That's my mission: find you a good industrial metal band so that you can stop name-dropping Sybreed ;)

Haha, sounds like mission impossible.

As much as I love Anathema's WHBWH this will probably be my album of the year. I never would've thought that Bill Leeb had an album like this in him. Love every second of it!

I'd have to agree. Bill Leeb always seemed to be lost without Rhys Fulber to co-write with. Although, I'm still enjoying the Anathema album more than this.

I will name-drop Ministry until the cows come home.

I know, and they're not bad to mention since most people will recognize the name. They are one of the better 50/50 metal/industrial acts.
