I haven't heard anything from these guys but This sounds like it could be good, I'll probly check it out. Would anyone recommend listening to their other albums before this one?

If you like technical music I'd say give Trees Swallows Houses a spin but you dont have to to get this

I think Solid Ground is the best track on the album, but this album is just great all around. Who knew indie rock can actually be, y'know, happy?
EDIT: Actually, I have no idea why I wrote "happy." The classic upbeat music, downbeat lyrics syndrome. But it's done so well.

good review. concise. not sure it really prepared me for what i heard. some of the songs on this are pretty nice. reminds me a lot of Grizzly Bear. This type of music probably isn't my thing.. too easy, too fun, not enough harmonic tension.. I can't really relate to the mood. still, rhythmically and in terms of arrangement, it was pretty impressive. The voice is pleasant at points and grating at others. I know a friend who will love it. pretty music, and at many points captivating, but a few too many songs are easily forgettable.
