well written review if a little light on particular songs, no mention of the carrion call, 7th Cavalry, You Lose, Sleeping Giants which are all astonishing tracks. I don't really understand your objection to the production either, to me the instruments are balanced incredibly well, when listening in my car driving or on headphones. yes the drums are high in the mix, but i wouldn't say they are all dominant. The guitar and bass work are absolutely stellar on this release and IMO do not get lost amongst the pummeling from Adam Jarvis at all. Cheers.

Mmmm think it's time for the Misery Index binge.
Used to dig these guys and Dying Fetus back when I was getting into more extreme stuff. Looking forward to the new album as well.

Not a big fan of this one. The riffs are too 1 dimensional and the production sounds like so many other bands

This is their best album imho. This band does suffer from sounding too one dimensional, but I found this album their most dynamic effort. Riffs everywhere

The production is sick tho.
