I got this album when it first came out in the uk and must say I am impressed they've moved on from the (and I'll quote from the still waiting video ) skateboarding and getting dumped type of youth fueled songs to a lot more mature sound . I've got the album with two bonus tracks reign in pain and world war 7 . They seem to be inspired ny Iron maiden especially the solo in world war 7 . I give it 4.5/5

I thought this album was quite good actually, a bit boring after a while but nothing to horrible. I liked Chuck, but the same flaws, repetitive and gets boring quickly.

actually i liked this album best cuz they were more of a rock band than trying to be punk like before

The music's good but the same chord sequence repeated over and over again in every single chorus doesn't do a great deal for me.

Chuck is better if you like metal at all.

Can anyone explain to me: "Hyper-Insomnia-Para-Condroid" and "Hell song"? They are my favorites on the album, and I have no clue why they got those titles.

This is an awesum album. still waiting is a masterpiece...the guitar solo isnt that great. its simple but very effective. Hell Song has a great solo. theyre one of the few punk rock/pop punk bands that actually put thought into the guitar, unlike green day whos solos are absolutely pethetic.

SUM 41 ROCK!"

Yup.

Except that "Still waiting" doesn't have a solo. It has Brownsound playing the chorus vocal line on guitar.

Armsrong needs to stay with power chords and let whoever the hell his bass player is do scales.

Far too short of a review. It was a great blurb, though.

to thatguywhollbefamous: where do you get off saying green day's guitar solos suck? Exactly haw many have you heard? They have one in almost every song... they've got wonderful solos.

That album sucks. Just like anything Sum 41 has done or will do.

before u go and just say it sucks, go and put some thought into why it sucks. give the band some constructive critisism rather than making ur vague generalizations. this whole cd is preety good, mr. amsterdam has the best guitar intro of all sum songs, also i dont think that "thanks for nothing gets enough credit, that is the best song on the album, even though this is my #5 best album of all time
