@vanderb0b, I fully agree with you. good songwriting is just as important as technicality. But, my piont is, i believe that sadus, were not only more technical, but were much better songwriters as well. the amount of energy, and agression in their music, as well as their creativity, and their ability to make their music seem like an expirence, rather than just a bunch of songs I find to be above that of many of the bands in the the big four, as well as many other bands in the underground.

Sadus certainly has better songwriting than all of the big four, except for Megadeth, who was about as good during the late 80s/early 90s. It just seemed to me that you were saying that Metallica isn't good just because they aren't incredibly technical, my bad.

@NeutralThunder12

Maybe it was a slight stretch, but Sadus' songwriting is every bit as strong as any band from the Big Four. Certainly better than Slayer and most of Metallia/Antrax's stuff. Metallica's RTL is almost as good, and Megadeth's RiP is better than Sadus, but only slightly.

I'd agree based of this album, can't speak on the rest of Sadus's material.

also, IMHO Swallowed in black>rust in peace, in terms of technicality. musicainship is close though. Rip is a fine album.

I always felt that RiP was one of the best thrash albums, but seeing 'deth perform it live made it my absolute favorite. Swallowed in Black is very close, although.

" 'Sadus certainly has better songwriting than all of the big four'- Fail of the decade."

yet when the comment was made (in response to you) about digiorgio being one of metal's best bassists, you replied:

"in terms of technical skill, maybe, but nobody can rival Steve Harris's bass lines."

neutral, you are a fucking idiot. iron maiden aren't part of the big 4. dumb novice.

then, you even further proved your own stupidity with this comment:

"Never said the musicianship wasn't good, but whenever I hear Sadus I usually just lol"

stop giving this reviewer a hard time, you clearly don't know shit about music.

in fact neutral, you have far too shitty of a taste in music to be criticizing anyone else's review. don't give him lip for listening to metallica when you listen to metalcore. you fucking pussy.

Well, I'm glad others noticed neutral is a joke. This album, and this band however isn't. I thought the iron maiden remark was pretty funny as well.
