ahhh, that's pretty funny. i've never seen a troll war actually evolve into a reviewing contest before haha

well we know MJ never loses in 1-on-1
I haven't read the DogFish review yet, but this was pretty good man. Your most conventional review yet for sure, but definitey entertaining.

i have a feeling that dogfish's review was already pre-written
his dastardly plan backfired

I like your more "conventional" reviews MJ. The other guys review was way too verbose.

^ I thought that too. But wasn't MJ the one who called out Dogfish for the challenge?

haha, I think DogFish's review was just pulled from various other reviews on Sputnik. The intro is definitely a play on Shadows' Blackwater Park review, and the end is pretty reminiscent of Adam Thomas' Boxer review I think.

@ Hans: yeah but dogfish picked the album
either way it was entertaining

So when I was like 11, I made my mom buy this for me just for Kiss From A Rose.

Do it. It's a cool album

ok so I know this is a well-written commentary and it "won" that little "contest" thing or whatever, but I honestly think that as a review of this soundtrack, the review falls short.
Track by track focusing on the best cuts would have been better. i mean, it's a compilation (and a great one), so a TBT should work pretty well...

Bad Days is definitely an incredible fuckin' song. I always think of that awesome scene from the film where we're first introduced to The Riddler's home while this song plays and it definitely works thematically (lyrics about killing your boss when Nygma has, in fact, just killed his own boss). Too bad the rest of the film couldn't be as interesting as that one scene.
Video is typical 90s Flaming Lips nonsensical absurd awesomeness as well.
