How? I'm tempted to 4.5, but that'd just be blatant junjunfanboyism.

Yeah, I misunderstood that as a rating. Makes sense now.

But seriously, this is pretty damn good metalcore.

I may be the site's biggest TGI fanboy, so I can't necessarily agree with you, but it really is pretty damn good. Returners had just the right amount of 'bro' for me to really like but not be annoyed by.

That being said, this album isn't bro at all. It's just gewd.

oh, well that makes sense bro. i think everything could use a little more bro in it.. except this, it surpasses anything that brodum could add to it

brodom* Immediately made me pun Children of Brodom. Chuckled a little bit to myself.

I dunno, as much as the whole tough guy metalcore theme pisses people off and I understand why, I love it. Gimmicky or bullshit or whatever, I love that brand of misanthropic positivity. Plus, I r supar xtuffx.

There's a fair portion of my music that I listen to purely for message and aggression. If I want a pleasant and innovative collection of sounds, I'll usually search elsewhere. That's not to say I don't like the genre, but I do realize it's pretty stale. I just happen to love the formula. JUNJUNJUNJUNRAAAARRRRGGGGHHH OH!

Honestly, Goodbye to the Gallows wasn't that bad. It was all downhill from there, though.

The cleans on this album are fuckin' awesome. I seriously can't find a single song I don't love. Although Prophets, Sturdy Wings, Goodbye Megaton, Digression, and The Sanctuary. LOL that's like half the album. Carpe Diem is also a very very badass interlude.

Lyrics have always been pretty bad though, lol. Although at a certain point in my life I definitely liked it. I sort of still do in a guilty pleasure sort of way when I'm really pissed off. I used to be a really really really really angry kid, lol.
