I'm honestly more excited to listen to this than I am DDB, but I'll try both at some point today. ~ the joys of unemployment

There isn't really that much of a similarity except for both being amazing

I can't see any reason you wouldn't adore DDB though it is the perfect indie album

i dont think this is too similar to DDB as that is a darker album overall. but it is similar to there will be fireworks debut i think. lots of chimeyness, twinkleyness. kind of ambient/postrock without being overly ambient. song structures are a little unusual, some quite short and dont go anywhere. there is one dynamic riff in one of the songs on this album which is just like the one on youngblood on DDB too.

Just tell them you're an emeritus/staff on Sputnik and surely they'll hire you immediately! That's how it works right?

Seriously good luck though

good luck. hopefully things wont change too much and you can still browse sputnik and listen to music
while youre at work like i am now lol. first time i heard dark dark bright was sat at my office desk.
read the review on sputnik, listened to the itunes previews for the album and i almost shed a tear
when it came to the Here Is Where preview clip. just the previews! fucking sad but still that album is
special.
