good review

Almost every single album put out after "The Bends" is terribly inconsistent and has filler and/or songs that fall short.

I disagree, but it's your opinion. The review is well written.

My advice would just be to one, ignore people that are giving you a hard time in the comments and not offering helpful criticism. And two, work on being less vague when describing the album, for example
The big effect-using song

this doesn't deserve so many negs

intro: you say "for sure" many many times. tone it down a little, the phrase is used awkwardly at best. also, the first para @ 2 sentences feels more like a summary than intro.

para2: your first sentence is grammatically incorrect. " You can also notice that Thom Yorke's vocals have improved rather greatly," so much weirdness in this. "like the sound of "Sulk" would later appear on "Kid A" again, grammatically incorrect.

para3: you spell Electioneering wrong. the little aside is unnecessary. comparing "My Iron Lung" to the sound of Nirvana and AIC says incredibly little about what it actually sounds like. "They all are pulled off with flying colors, never falling short an inch." wut.

para4: "The guitarist has more solos than he has ever gotten to do to this date," awkwardness to the max. "I loved the use of piano," why? Your analyzation of the music here is incredibly faulty, but that's more my opinion... still though, change it.

para5: it's worst, not "worse." stop saying "surely" it adds nothing. "songs that fall short" wut. " barely falls short at all." wut. "Thom's vocals are for sure at his best on this album, almost never resorting to the high-pitched singing and yearning you hear oh-so often on "OK Computer" and "Kid A", and when he does, he doesn't let it become out of control. " split this up. "He actually uses his voice, and has very pleasing results." wut.

closing: "such as that in some songs " awkward. "I was also a bit disappointed to find that there were virtually no drum fills or solos whatsoever on this record. Me being the drummer I am, notice things like that and i'm sure if he had a fill here and there it would have complemented the song." This is way too personal, and really has no relevance to the review. It's very weakening to your review, and you're gonna wanna stray far away from stuff like this in the future.

overall: the review reads very awkwardly. try reading it aloud while/after you write. more importantly, your analyzation really irks me, and I presume, others... maybe try reading some of the better reviewers' reviews... I suggest thebhoy, kirgasm, silveri, and most of the staff/contrib... you'll learn how to more accurately analyze the album. as your review stands now, it's really not very good... fix some of those things and I'll undo the neg.

pearl: nothing personal, I'm sure you worked hard on it, there's just a lot of ways you could improve it.

celestial: I know, a lot more productive than saying "neg, bad review" haha... I hate how there seems to be a negative connotation with constructive criticism. alachahol did this for a review of mine today too.
