Good review.
Secret Country is still my favorite by a mile.

Album Rating: 3.5
imho anyone giving this more than a 4, and most people giving it more than a 3.5, are probably hugely biased by the band's previous efforts.
What's your rating?

Knott, you're top played artist on Last.fm is Yellowcard. Therefore your argument is invalid. This album is definitely 3.5 or + without any bias.

Hahaha wow, fail.

Album Rating: 3.5 | Sound Off
Of course the band's previous efforts weigh in on how good a new record is. You can't just rate an album as a standalone effort when they've put out better records in the past that directly impact how the new album stacks up. That's how you determine the progress of a band musically. That's common sense. Bias is inherent in almost everything related to opinion, especially something as objective as music criticism.

Hello Pitchfork. Let the complaining begin.
|

Album Rating: 3.5
Pitchfork was harsh. Only a 6.2 for Heaven is Whenever, too!
|
| |
This album is soo cheesy and disappointing. Really, to me it's just another run-of-the-mill indie album, and we really don't need any more of those, do we?
|

pitchfork just reviewed sex?
