decent review... and man that was fairly fucked up wutwutwut. it's understandable to try to defend urself but to tell the truth the Holocaust is gonna be a touchy subject forever and no matter who u are it's still fucked up. but back to the album, its definitely their best one. the flow is created by the transitions between riffs. it doesn't matter what style of riffs there are, it matters what notes u use to transition them. and the creativity is definitely there seeing as it isnt very easy to make one whole album that never repeats itself except some memorable parts that they bring back every now and then, and switches genres rapidly, and does it better than anyone else who has tried it except for Opeth. To say that they are being pretentious is ignorant. u dont know what their mindset was going into the recording and doesn't every band put out music so everyone can see how good they are? So to say this band is pretentious is like saying that all bands are pretentious in the fact that they record to the best of their ability in the studio. Just cuz BTBAM have more skill than those people doesn't mean that if those people had the same chops they wouldn't utilize them to the best of their ability and if they did people would just call those bands pretentious cuz its easy to write something off as pretentious when u don't understand it.
