i get huge "this slightly reminds me of some song not sure what it is but it's probably better than this" vibes from "strange"

That's my favorite part. The drummer's always behind with the beat but it just works for some reason.

It is a really simple sounding album (if you notice almost all the songs start with very similar guitar lines) but there's a certain emotional quality to it that is very powerful

yah these songs don't really sound the same.

but your boredom is understandable, the album does move at a snail's pace. as in its not for everyone.

i mean yeah obviously there are very few albums where i can fairly claim that all the "songs sound the same" but the production is just so banal and dreary and especially the first three or so songs all...well...sound the same, to me.

i mean it's not terrible but yeah

the assertion that an entire album "sounds the same" is just a personal pet-peeve I generally prefer to be back up intelligently (also because I trust you to be someone who dissects this shite astutely)
