I don't know I'm happy with the finished product. People may think it's rushed but I think if they listen to the album they will agree with most, if not all, the points I make here. But you can't please everyone here, as most people know.
Thanks Karl, you would loathe this. I understand where you and everyone else are coming from Metalstyles when you say the review is rushed but I can guarantee the rating isn't overblown.

naah the rating doesn't bother me at all hahahaha
It's just that I find his in-sentence flow isn't as good as, in example, it was in his last Catamenia review (which was superb, just to be clear haha). Yes, his thoughts and different sentences all run together nicely, but some of the sentence structures aren't 100% usual Crysis.
I mean, like I already said, the review is great and obviously I pos'd. It's just that I think it's not Crysis' best write-up to date, that's all.

Normally i don't rate albums so soon after just listening to them, but i don't see this one getting repeated listens, so i figure i'll just give it a 3 right now. Pretty decent (although a bit generic) instrumentally. Vocals seem more radio-friendly, and the lyrics are a bit closer to The Poison than to SAF's, although not QUITE as cringe-worthy. Not bad, but really nothing special.
If i were in my Sophomore year of high school, i probably would've given this a 4.5. Thank god my standards for metal have gone up.

Yeah some of their old songs are pretty good, but like G3N3R1C said it's really flat instrumentally and the vocals are really radio-friendly (not that that's always a bad thing but it just doesn't work here).

I don't think they're saying you rushed it due to the amount of time between the beginning of the stream and when you posted this review. It feels rushed because it doesn't have your normal flow and polish. The review is kind of disjointed and there are still more mistakes than what you're known for.

Sorry Mr. Ward, but you are incorrect on the rating. I haven't heard all of yet, but the half that I have heard I definitely see some improvements from Scream, Aim, Fire.
