I don't enjoy death core, not because of the monotony, but because there are no standout bands in the genre.
There are plenty of other genre's with a fairly monotonous sound.
Black Metal
Grindcore
Doom
Punk
Post Rock
For fuck's sake burzum-hvis lyset tar oss is monotonous as hell, but its a standout in the genre.

man ipod headphones are shit yeah. can't understand why so many bitches use them. not only do you not hear anything but treble, but you have to turn it up 3 times as loud to hear anything.
spend 17$ on a pair of skullcandys.

While I find this enjoyable I also agree with the review at the same time, and even some of the negative comments. The solos are really bad (completely random/off-key/sour notes) and the riffs are repetitive...Slayer are not great musicians by any means, they hit a couple really good albums and are undoubtedly one of the most influential metal bands ever.
