tbh, while i agree with the general idea of this review (and i'm a MUSIC fan, not a genre fan), it does come off as a little vague and preachy

I'm totally not in biebers demographical target and even if I don't think this album is 'good' I think the review was a bit harsh. The album wasn't done in 4 month it was almost done when the first part of my world came out. They're actually the same album divided in two, and he has been working on that sins a year perhaps even a year and half. Of course the album is going to sound great for tween girls and in our ours ears not. But saying this is crap (mostly because we aren't 12 anymore) is like hip hop lover judged that a rock album was crap because he doesn't like rock. The buzz of bieber's is a bit like the one of the jonas brothers and tokio hotel. But of those three justin bieber is actually pretty 'good'. He actually got a good voice even if the review states a 'overuse' of autotune. I don't agree on that point, after listening song like tik tok,freeze by tpain,heartless and watcha say etc I really don't think their was a abuse of autotune, I didn't really pay attention to it but at first and second listen a robotic or a 'bubly' kind of effect on the voice didn't really came to my ears. And when listening to bieber in live he actually is capable of singing all the notes of his album correctly so it isn't like he's using autotune to hide that he doesn't have vocal abilities. He actually got a really nice voice, and after hearing a live album of jonas brothers god help (so false !) me I'd rather hear my kids listen to justin bieber. Teen stars like the jb's and tokio hotel we're meant to last a year or two. But justin bieber will maybe grow up with his fans, he's got a good voice,usher and a whole hit makers group behind him,he hasn't got a band (so no ugly one no fan likes ..I'm not pointing anyone in tokio hotel), he does Rnb who more easily charts the bilboard 200 then any other genre, and he shows a bit of 'maturity' on this my world 2.0 not a lot of course but just enough... if he continues by doing that on each album his fans will follow. After listening to One less lonely Girl with my daugther in the car yesterday, hearing a song like 'runaway love' with this retro style, and instrumental and bridge that really isn't like any of the commercial junk their was in my world 1 i was surprised.

A song like Somebody to love, like you pointed it out actually isn't that bad, a good fast paced flow, with a catchy chorus was really unexpected after songs like favourite girl. Up and U smile(with a real piano melody) we're good, he really improved his ballads since 'first dance' who talked about things like teachers that won't look at them at the prom. For the rest of the album i quite agree with the review it's commercial junk but I really think they've done what their supposed to be : catchy. It's not that easy to have a handfull of hits on an album. Well sorry for the long comment, and the spelling mistakes. I apreciated reading the review and your point of view lambda, I tried to say mine, tried to be more constructive then comments like 'stop saying i'm fat' or wathever has been posted here.

And that's a critic site is all about adding your point of view to the one gave in the critics of the site. I didn't agree that this artist just got a 1.5 and that's my right and if you kill time by saying crap and attacking other people instead of saying something constructive about the subject of this article well then i feel really sorry bout you.

agreed. if you are going to spend that much time defending an artist, choose your battles and fight for a band you actually like.

'so much time and energy' oh my god It took like 2min to write that comment, the critic itselfs took the time even if it wasn't because he liked the album, I read critics of sputnikmusic for a long time now and i usually agree but this time not so i thought 'hey why don't you write a critic' lambda took 4 paragraphs mine was as long so what is the problem ? Won't post to much again on this site in the future if people only critic your motives for writing a comment.

Sowingseason you're a bit right but the artist's i like got great marks on this site so I don't see the point of it. Defending artists i TOTALLY don't like isn't usefull either, been wanting to write a critic in a comment was in my ming for a long time so artists like justin bieber i think deserve more then a 1.5 are good enough for me to write about.

If you care so much about this, write a review, dude. People aren't going to take long-winded rants in threads very seriously.
