I just don't understand how you complain about how the songs don't repeat themselves enough, then complain about how the guitarists repeat themselves too much in the heavy parts. Sure, I'm not happy when people dislike this album, but I can at least listen to others opinions on this. Your review just seemed to have some contradictions within it, as well as the review itself being a rather unorganized track by track.



Also, don't judge bands based on Rock Band ever. It doesn't make me want to take the review seriously.

This album is fantastic. There's no mess here. I don't see how anyone thinks THIS is a mess, but love TGM... That's much more of a mess than Colors. It's a journey. And if the first time he heard this band was on Rock Band... well then you can expect the writer to be about 13ish, not had enough time in his life to digest music well enough, and going to have some very immature opinions and not appreciate what was done here. And I'd love to know how exactly this album is pretentious... Did the guitar say it thought it was better than another guitar... didn't think so.

I'm 18. A lot of older people like rock band as well. I'm a drummer and I study music, so please everyone stop with the prejudice that because I enjoy rock band, my opinion isn't worth shit. I enjoy guitar hero: Metallica mainly because I really listened to them for the first time in my entire life, does that make Metallica any worse? Really not.
