I can't believe I've never listened to this band before, they're like a load of other bands I'm into but actually good.

I dunno i've always called them pop-core? since its like a more "grr im hardcore" soundin pop-punk.. this cd is totally made for SCENE BEARS!!! GAR.

shit accidentaly submitted! but, yea great review man. i agree with you on pretty much every point. i love that they didn't use auto-tune on this one, cuz that shit pisses me off.

they also got nice and crunchy with those guitar riffs.. LOVE THE SHIT!

Great album but I prefer the style that they used on Rise or Die Trying and the earlier EPs and Demos.

yes bumped it up to a five. Since this came out ive been seriously in love with it. I hadn't listened to it for about two months and tried again, and yep still seriously love it (if not even more). Honestly my favorite album ever.

and i dunno about Beard-Core.. but i like it haha going to one of their shows involves being attacked by overly large scene-ish bearded guys..

i might make a documentary: When SCENE BEARS ATTACK!

i thought this was a major improvement from their previous work, their Debut album was pretty bad to be honest, Rise or Die Trying was a "getting there" as it had some really great material, but still showed that the band needed a little more improvement, but this album is a leap in the right direction! i really enjoyed this album, i hope this band keeps up the good work!

On 3rd LP ‘Enemy of the World’, bearded Massachusetts quintet Four Year Strong return with more of their hyperactively energetic hybrid of pop-punk & melodic hardcore. Once more, the dual & gang vocals add the all-important fun factor, especially during the catchier choruses of the highlight tracks. While this is not the most original album in existence & could have done with a little more variety, the production here plays to the band’s live strengths. Recommended Tracks: On A Saturday, Enemy of the World, Find My Way Back & This Body Pays the Bill$.
