its so long its kinda intimidating. but if you let it sink in, and/or taking it in doses, you can fully appreciate it.

if you look at the wikipedia page for this, there is a ridiculous amount of reviews. Even this review is featured.

Someone already took off the review, i guess they realized it was from an user. And it's not a ridiculous amount of reviews, everytime i check wikipedia, i read the discussion page. They are adding every review they find about the album, so after the week of the release they will build a reception part, and pick only 10 reviews inside the infobox. They wanna cite every review this album has received, so they had to do that and put them inside the infobox for a while. You don't go editing things at wikipedia without reading the discussion page, people over there discuss everything, sometimes you edit something that it was already made clear by a bunch of other users.

This album rules, my favorite of the year, even if it's a triple album and runs for over 2h.

Her singing is not as ridiculously squeaky as before. Therefore, I really, really like this new album.

My problems with this album is that it has some really great songs in it, but seems to have lost what made Newsom appeal to me in the first place. It's great, and completely different, but listening to this album through all the way after a few listens, my itunes played me straight into Milk Eyed Mender, and I missed that side of her musicality.

The summary is too bombastic. In spite of how old you are, 18 or whatever, most likely you have listened to about 1/1x10^6 of the music released in the last century. So, it is fine if you really like her, but please do not try to oversell it.

I dont think I oversold it. I like it a lot. I didn't even compare it to anything else. (Not even Joni Mitchell, despite how every other review does.) I am not going to talk about something i know nothing of. And i don't think you need to know older music to appreciate new music. It might help some people, but I dont think its necessary.

I know what I love. And I love this record.

(And by the way to the above comment, I think this album is more personal, lyrically. It feels more human. Than her other stuff.)

She deserves it get off her back

I agree, she deserves as much praise as she can get.

Have you?

No, and I think no one has because it is simply impossible. Even for a relatively short time span like, say, the last decade it is beyond the bounds of possibility to listen to every single album released.

Guys U Cant Say Anything About Music If U Havent Heard Every Piece Of Music

You can say some things, but not anything. The summary is just too bold of a statement.

by century i meant the one we are currently in. 2000- now. I would have said decade i guess but i consider this to be the second decade of this century.
