What I've heard sounds pretty good. Love "The Seduction".
And they are NOT a Christian band, just cause they're on Solid State doesn't automatically mean Christian band.

i just started listening to them. the singer has an amazing voice, the first song i heard was china white, and thats what i thought they generally sounded like.
yeah i was really surprised when i listened to the other songs.
honestly i dont know what to think of them. i think they should work on getting more of that singing voice in the songs. the screaming kinda ruins it sometimes.
at most i give a 3.5

Nah it's not that bad, it has it highs and lows, sometimes the lows can be too unbearable but the highs make it somewhat worth it.
Good cd its a shame they couldn't redefine this sound on the softmoarrr but none the less, great vocals, nice transistions and good guitar work.
The lyrics are absolutely terrible though.

The FACT, sir, is that sometimes an album can be a representation of a certain time in your life, making it more personal. Thus upping the rating. Yes, I think the music is wonderful. Yes, I think the vocals are great. It may not be the best thing ever written, but sometimes a band hits you in the right way at the right time. And it doesn't need to make anyone else happy for you to perceive it as a classic. I can listen to this over and over with no gripes. So, fuck YOU for telling I don't know how to "rate and/or poor music taste." I personally like my taste and that's all that matters.

The entire album is absolutely amazing! I can't get enough of it...everything on here is great!
A lot of my personal choices for best songs are different from the reviewer's choices, but that's expected. For example, my personal favorite song is "Eating A Book," with "China White" and "Dinner With A Gypsy" very, very close behind it. I also really like "The Walls Have Teeth," although that might have something to do with the fact that it was one of the first songs from this album that I heard.
More than simply a "solid album," it's one of my favorites now. I like "Suck Out The Poison" too, but I like this better.This Message Edited On 04.07.08
