EDIT: You probably didn't read this on the last page cause I edited it in, but here we go. Also, why the fuck do you keep name dropping "Emo" in your review? You probably don't know what emo is, I believe you are thinking scene kid. More proof that you're an idiot. For a track description you talked about how the song wasn't worthy of a review and how the emo kids will love it. That tells me nothing about the fucking music. This website is here to talk about the music, not the fanbase it attracts. You aren't allowed to take shots at a band because of the people who like them, only if their music is low quality/immature.

Listening to their older material, it becomes obvious that they were only signed because they had their own originality...

Slipknot fanboys are annoying in their own right, about just as annoying as Children Of Bodom fanboys or Metallica fanboys. However, a review is needed on their latest release, All Hope Is Gone, which is arguably their most mature release to date.

There are plently of reviews and that first point is entirely irrelevant. How can it be mature and receive a 1.5?

All opinions aside, reviewing an album that very few paid attention to upon it's release on August 20th, 2008 is a very difficult task to endure while withholding so much hatred towards the band that composed it.

And it's also arguably the best piece this band has ever written... and that's not saying much.

Now you have Snuff.. it's a wonderful, melancholy piece that's about a love lost. Very emotional and brings up feelings in those who have lost someone special to them. Great song, one of the highlights on this album. 5 / 5

Dude, if I wrote a Sean Kingston review and I didn't make it a flamefest I'm pretty fucking sure you can write a review about an average album without being a complete bitch about it.

I don't like Slipknot at all, and I haven't listened to this, nor do I have any intention to. That being said this review sucks, no matter what rating it recieves.

Aside from everything else everybody has just said, I would like to point out that this album reached 1# on the billboard charts. I think that's a difficult feat to achieve if nobody pays attention to your album.
