you people just slip back into your happy make beleive lives

*pinches self*
Nah, I didn't even have to do that to determine this is reality. Cause if this was my make believe happy world, moronic posters like yourself would not exist, and there would be no hippies. But alas, you have proven to me that I still live in reality, and that hippies do sadly still roam the earth....sigh...

Hippies scare me, and so does Manson, but I like him anyways.

This is the one Manson CD I don't have. By the looks of it I think I need it.

i think you overrated this album a little
i would have given Use your fist and not your mouth a higher rate though

and yeah manson is not goth at all
this is not his best album by far, the artwork and the concept are really clever but the lyrics are mostly lame and pale in comparison to his excellent work in anticrhist superstar or mechanical animals, the music gets really boring and some points, john five should not have left the band
but if you´re gonna hate this band just because of his shock value or his personality you should think twice because if you look past it you cant deny he is a true artist, not really a musician

Very true. This is definetly not his best album. I would of gave it a 4 or 4.5/5. Spade is an amazing song though.

I think this a very good album. I haven't heard much else of Marilyn Manson but I would like to. I am going to check out Mechanical Animals and Antichrist Superstar as they seem to be the best from what I have read.

check out Holy Wood. It may be long, (19 songs), but they are all amazing. MA an AS are also amazing to though.

Some of the ignorance on the first page is worth laughing about.

Anyways, MM is a decent band, but I don't believe this is a 5..

Well written review. I agree with you on many points, but not on this one though:

"It is also likely his best album lyrically."

But anyway, good work!

This can't contend with Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holywood but it's still an excellent album.

One of Manson's more underrated albums, even though lyrically it has it's faults.
