The gorgeous thing about all the Here, Hear EPs is that each contains 4 tracks and each of these 4 tracks are entirely thought of, composed and performed by (with exception to the vocals) one of the members, aside from Jordan, who takes lyrical and vocal duties. Each member has a chance to showcase their ingenuity and meld their influences in an altogether personal song.

Not quite- the lyrics, particularly on the first two, are often extracts from poems/novels/myths. I agree that they're amazing though!

What gets this album a good rating in my book is the lyrics. I'm not a huge fan of spoken vocals when they sound like some poet dude in a coffee shop like some of the vocals do... But, the lyrics just win me over on all of the Here, Hears.

"However, after the sixth or seventh track, I lose all interest in the album. If you were to look at my Itunes library, you would see that the play-count for each song gets progressively lower as the album goes on."

My playcount for each song, in order: 36, 47. 37, 34, 33, 27, 26, 26, 21, 20, 19, 21, 20.

And this is an album I would listen to on a nightly basis for a good two weeks. So yes, I completely agree.

Everything they do is ridiculously good.

I have absolutely no problem listening to Somewhere at the Bottom of the River in it's entirety. In fact, I do it at least once daily. Seriously.
