It just seems like they are trying to be like bands such as the Flaming Lips when that doesn't really suit them. Even hooky songs like "This Too Shall Pass" get muddied up.

I think that's actually a fair criticism mvdu. There's definitely more than once on this album where they step over the line with regards to their ambition vs their talent.



Funnily enough, I was flipping past The Jay Leno Show the other night & there they were singing 'This Too Shall Pass', so I guess that's gonna be their next single.

I dunno man, you may have to explain this one to me & just make me look silly...

lol but its a secret...haha nah just means they're old bastards that are unmarried. Thus they have grey hair, and go to the strippers frequently. So they're Grey Hounds. Yea I know I'm awesome ;)

This is not like the traditional vision of OK GO. Not as poppy as the review states. But I guess they've come a ways since playing on treadmills... Still a decent album. I think I'll give it a 3.5
