^ Holy hell yes, agree completely.

Here you go (pardon my pickiness haha, a lot of these are okaaayish to leave but would make it a lot easier on the reader and

bump this up from a good to an amazing review if you change):

"And it is from the soft-spoken that several great things have come from."

Please don't start sentences with 'And'. It is never grammatically correct. Chop the last 'from' as well, no need for it.

I absolutely love that Marathon quote. Chills every time I hear it :D

...three pointless comments. argh

"going back to their jazzy roots (maudlin of the Well, for those of you who didn't know), and then experimenting with some

extreme metal"

woooo careful with this sentence. about the jazz, read the 8th question on this interview:

Oh, one last one:

"FINAL RATING: 4.9/5"

Number is low, "FINAL RATING: 5/5" expresses this album's merit more fully ;D

That said, you did a really good job on here, I'm just a picky little bitch when it comes to grammar. Really enjoyed this, going

to check out some of your other reviews now : )

Edit: fuck formatting

@brah: I asgree with ninety percent of what you are saying. My grammar is not the greatest, so I trust you on that. As for the final rating, I will never say, "this album is perfect" because there is always a flaw in everything (in Marathon, the lyrics aren't as fantastic as the others. In P.O.S. there's the occasionally quirky vocal. In Manifold there's a weird production glitch. In Wayfarer, that build up goes to waste somewhat. In The Antique, the tuning goes on about 15 seconds too long.)

As for jazzy, I disagree. If I had said, jazz-influenced, then yes, I'm at fault. But being similar is being jazzy, and being similiar due to being inspired to emulate or assuage/magnify is influenced by a sound.

But I'll try to piece together all of this.

Bingo. Pos'd, much much better. And the perfect 5 change was just a feeble attempt at humor and self-parody on my part; I definitely agree that there are a few spots that bump it down from absolute perfection.

I'll delete my awkwardly long comments now haha, no point in having them cluttering up your review section.

I have, but it is really upsetting to see your approval alter constantly.
