Easily their best release. It's consistent as hell and even pretty surprising throughout. Bitter For Sweet is an absolute beast. Mute and Black Electric are two of my favorite songs. The 5 is basically cause I thank this album for getting me into electronic stuff in my teenage "if it's not rock it sucks" phase. Still one of my favorite albums.



I also think this is the last album in Davey's prime which had to end due to surgery which I'm pretty sure occurred after this was recorded.
