Album Rating: 5.0 | Sound Off

When i first heard this album, I came to search for it on sputnikmusic and I didnt find it here, and I felt like crying. It was unbelievable at that time that so few people had actually heard it ( well I did have the advantage of living in montreal for the past one and half years). It is impossible for a true fan of melodic death metal to give this album anything less than 4.

i mean if you think being a true melodic death metal fan means thinking this average stuff is top notch then yeah.

It's good, but i dont see why some are drooling over it. Yall need to hear more melodeath and metal in general if you're handing a 5 to this.

The extensive 90gb+ collection of music says otherwise. Some just really love , the sound of this band, like me

I still think this album is a 5. Deserves no less then a 4, it just has so much to offer. Listening other respected bands in the genre that get 4s and 5s, i hear music of the same caliber.

i enjoyed reading this review because i share the same opinion. I love this album and listen to it often and it rarely feels played out. i do agree with the fact that bands this enjoyable do get overlooked. just being my opinion, i feel that this is a 5/5 too.(probably because i love dark tranquility and quality melo-death)

ps........Opeth is kinda overated tbh >___>

You can't even compare Opeth to this, they're totally different.

and yeah Opeth is a little overrated but i'd take Opeth > this, any day.

Never said they were the same. Just saying that people find it so easy to give Opeth 5s when its not even that good. And when anything else is given a 5 everyone is left in shock and awe.

Amazing album. Music doesn't need to be original to be good. The execution on here is perfect.
