support ist Birthmark (Mike Kinsella solo project) that sounds awful (from what I've heard)
but TTNG for around 9 bucks would be sweet I guess

The much-anticipated debut LP from English math-rockers This Town Needs Guns eschews long & ridiculous song titles for 13 tracks all named after 'Animals'. More math-pop than math-rock, the quartet largely abstain from using heavy & distorted riffs here, instead choosing to showcase their intricate time signatures within pop song structures. Unfortunately this results in less diversity than on their self-titled release, with a few too many tunes being indistinguishable from each other over the 44 minute duration. It's technically impressive & the patient will be rewarded with a solid LP, but TTNG are capable of better. Recommended Tracks: Lemur, Baboon & Badger.
